COVID 2019 Update: Andaman And Nicobar Gets Shut Down For Tourists

In the wake of Novel Corona Virus outbreak, the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has taken major decisions as precautionary measures to shut down beaches, eco-tourism spots and water sports from 16 March, 2020.

The Andaman and Nicobar Administration has issued directives to close all Tourist spots of the Islands with effect from 16 March to 26 March. All the Tourists are advised to refrain from the A&N Islands during the above time period.

All the Tourism facilities such as beaches, jetties, eco-tourism sites and Water sports activities shall remain suspended. All Tour Operators may advise their clients accordingly.

The total number of confirmed COVID 2019 cases across India has reached to 110 including foreign nationals as latest updated by Union Health Ministry on 15.03.2020.

Worldwide, there have been about 169,387 confirmed COVID 2019 cases reported till date. In which, at least 6513 people have died due to the infection.
