United States Confirmed Its First Case Of Corona Virus In A Traveller

Corona Virus

Health officials in the United States announced its first case of Coronavirus in a traveler returning from China. The patient lives in Washington state. He was tested positive for Novel Conrona Virus after visiting the Wuhan city in China. Almost 300 people have been hit by this mysterious virus in the city.

Li Bin, Deputy Head of China’s National Health Watchdog said in a press brief, “Cases of Wuhan Pneumonia have reached 440 and deaths 9, and the virus, which can be transmitted human to human, has gone into communities and can mutate for further spreading.”

The outbreak of the virus in China has been going on for at least a month but health experts still are observing the symptoms and keeping the patients in isolation.

Health experts are of the view globally that many people initially infected by visiting a live animal market in Wuhan city. It suggests that they caught the virus through contact with animals there.

In 2002, there was a outbreak of massive coronavirus in Asia which was called severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). SARS was spread through civet cats. In the recent spread of this virus, it is difficult to figure out yet through which animal the virus is spreading.

Jiao Yahui, medical administration head of National Health Commission (NHC) said, “We must adopt this mask culture…to protect ourselves and others.”

Yesterday, Indian govt. directed seven airports to conduct the thermal screeners of passengers arriving in India from China in the wake of Corona Virus outbreak. These airports include: Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
